the Monsoon is starting...

Today the mosoon got really started and flooded our entire street. There was one yard of water and if you wanted to leave Loyola Hall you basicly had to either swim or float or find some other way through the waters. Still, ten sisters came to my series of lectures on theology that started today. The topic is "The Role of Mary in Catholic Theology". Mariology is very important here in Pakistan, because a lot of the growing Protestant churches challenge the Catholic tradition and pratice. So it is necessary to provide some sound theology and to point out its biblical background in order to enable and build dialogue between the churches. With some of the new Protestant churches - like the Church of Christ - we have some good contact. They use one of our halls once in a while for some outreach-activities.
Our Puppies are growing fast. Unfortunatel, two of them died a day after their birth, but the remaining two are now starting to wander around and explore their environement.
